Find Talent for a Job

You can search for and invite talent directly from a job post.

When sourcing talent for a specific role, you can search candidates from your existing network or discover new talent through Lifted's network.

To find talent from a job:

  1. Go to Job Posts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Open the job you want to fill.

  3. Select the Talent tab.

  4. Click Invite Talent.

  5. Choose a talent source:

    • Your Network

    • Global Talent Network

Note: The Global Talent Network is only available when searching from within a job.

Understanding Talent Sources

When searching from a job, you can choose between two talent sources.

Your Network

Your Network includes:

  • Talent from your Talent Pool

  • Talent you've invited to Lifted

  • Talent you've previously hired or engaged

These candidates typically already have Lifted profiles and use the same search experience, filters, groups, and actions available in the Talent Pool.

Results are automatically filtered to show talent eligible for the selected contract type.

Invite Talent from Your Network

  1. Select one or more talent profiles.

  2. Click Invite to Job.

Invited talent appears in the Talent tab with an Invited status.

The candidate source is labeled Internal.

Global Talent Network

The Global Talent Network includes external talent sourced through Lifted's network, including Upwork.

Use this option to discover new candidates outside your existing network.

Talent sourced through the Global Talent Network may not yet have Lifted profiles.

Search for Talent

The search query defaults to the job title and can be updated at any time.

Available filters include:

  • Skills

  • Location

  • Languages

  • Job Success Score

  • Badge

  • Pay Rate

  • English proficiency

Invite Talent from the Global Talent Network

  1. Select one or more talent profiles.

  2. Click Invite to Job.

Invitations are sent to candidates through Upwork, either by email or through their Upwork account.

If the talent does not yet have a Lifted profile, they will be prompted to create one when applying.

Invited talent appears in the Talent tab with an Invited status.

The candidate source is labeled Lifted Network.

Invite Multiple Candidates

You can invite multiple candidates at the same time.

To invite multiple candidates:

  1. Select one or more talent profiles.

  2. Click Invite to Job.

  3. Select the job post if prompted.

View Candidate Sources

You can see how each candidate was sourced when reviewing talent for a job.

To view candidate sources:

  1. Open the job from the Job Posts page.

  2. Select the Talent tab.

  3. Review the Source column.

Candidate sources include:

  • Internal — Candidates invited directly from your Talent Pool.

  • Lifted Network — Candidates sourced through Lifted's network, including Upwork.
