Create a Job Post

The Job Posts page is the central place to manage all your job listings. From here, you can create, edit, close, and share job posts.

Your experience may vary depending on your role (Admin or Hiring Manager).

Steps to create a job post

  1. Go to the Job Posts page from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Job Post in the top-right corner

  3. Complete the job details

  4. Choose whether to save as draft or post the job

Job Post Fields

When creating a job post, you'll be asked to provide information about the role, engagement type, compensation structure, and posting options.

Basic information

  • Job title and description

  • Category

  • Estimated start date

Engagement type

Select the engagement type for the role. Options may vary based on your organization’s agreement and can include:

  • Independent Contractor

  • Agent of Record

  • Employer of Record

  • Outsourcing

  • Staff Augmentation

This determines the engagement model, talent eligibility, and services Lifted provides to support the engagement.

Compensation type

  • Hourly — Set an hourly rate and maximum weekly hours

  • Milestones — Break the project into milestone-based payments

  • Recurring — Set recurring or fixed billing schedules

Team assignment (admins only)

Admins can select the team the job belongs to.

Hiring managers do not see this field because the team is assigned automatically.

Project Members

Project Members can collaborate on the project or stay informed about project activity.

There are two types of Project Members:

  • Project Owner — Has full management access to the project. Each project must have one Project Owner, and only one Project Owner can be assigned to a project.

  • Project Contributor — Can participate in project chats and receive notifications about project activity.

Only members from your assigned Team can be added as Project Members.

Posting options

  • Save as Draft — Save the job and continue editing later

  • Post Job — Immediately post the job

Once posted, you can update the sharing settings to make the job visible to a broader audience.

Important: Once a job is posted, it cannot be edited. Make sure all details are finalized before posting.
