Understand Onboarding Workflow Statuses

Onboarding workflow statuses indicate who is responsible for the next required step in the onboarding process and help you track progress before work begins.
Onboarding Workflow StatusesÂ
Status | What it Means | Next Action |
Pending Talent | The next required onboarding step must be completed by the talent. | The talent must complete the required action before onboarding can continue. |
Pending Client | The next required onboarding step must be completed by your organization. | Complete the required action before onboarding can continue. |
Pending Start | All onboarding requirements have been completed, but the contract start date has not yet arrived. | No action is required. The contract will become Active on the start date. |
Active | All onboarding requirements have been completed and the contract start date has been reached. | Work can begin. |
How Statuses Change
As each onboarding stage is completed, the contract automatically progresses to the next required stage.
The contract status updates to indicate who is responsible for the next required action.
