Create and Manage Contracts

The Contracts page allows you to view and manage contracts associated with your organization.

From the Contracts page, you can create contracts, review contract details, track contract status, and manage active engagements.

Create a Contract

You can create a contract from a job post or directly from the Dashboard or Contracts page.

Create a Contract from a Job Post

Create a contract for a shortlisted candidate directly from the Talent Tracker.

  1. Go to Job Posts.

  2. Open the relevant job post.

  3. Navigate to the Talent Tracking tab.

  4. Locate the shortlisted candidate.

  5. Select Send Proposed Contract.

The proposed contract automatically populates with the candidate's proposal details, including engagement information and contract terms (e.g., proposed pay rates, start and end dates).

Review the details and make any necessary changes before sending the contract to the candidate.

Once sent and accepted by the talent, the contract enters the contract workflow process.

Create a Contract Without a Job Post

Create a contract directly when no job post is associated with the engagement.

You can start this process from the Contracts page or from the Dashboard.

From the Contracts page:

  1. Go to Contracts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Contract in the upper-right corner.

From the Dashboard:

  1. Click Create New in the upper-right corner.

  2. Select Create Contract.

Next:

  1. Complete the contract form. The form includes contract details similar to job creation.

  2. In the Talent section, choose one of the following:

    • Choose existing talent

    • Add new talent

  3. Click Submit.

The contract is sent to the talent for review and onboarding if accepted by the talent.

Find a Contract

To find a contract:

  1. Go to Contracts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Review the list of contracts.

  3. Use the search field or available filters to locate a specific contract.

View Contract Details

To view contract details:

  1. Go to Contracts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Select the contract you want to review.

  3. Open the Summary tab.

The Summary tab includes information such as:

  • Job title

  • Contract description

  • Assigned team

  • Contract workflow

  • Start and end dates

  • Talent information

  • Engagement type

  • Compensation details

  • Current contract status

Use the Summary tab to review contract details and track contract progress throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Edit a Contract

Contracts can be edited while they are in Draft status.

To edit a contract:

  1. Open the contract from the Contracts page.

  2. Update the contract details as needed.

  3. Save your changes.

Note: Once a contract becomes Active, it can no longer be edited.

Close a Contract

Close a contract when the engagement has ended.

To close a contract:

  1. Go to Contracts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Open the contract you want to close.

  3. Click Stop Contract in the upper-right corner.

  4. Confirm the action.

The contract status is updated to Closed.

Contract Statuses

Each contract displays a status that indicates its current stage in the contract lifecycle.

Status

Description

Action required

Action is required from you before the contract can move forward.

Pending talent

The contract is waiting for the talent to complete a required step.

Pending start

All required steps have been completed and the contract is waiting for the Start Date.

Active

The contract is active and work can begin.

Not eligible

The talent is not eligible to move forward with the engagement.

Declined

The contract or onboarding process was declined.

Closed

The contract has ended or was closed.
